When the weather turns warm, I love sitting outside on a deck or patio at night, don’t you? Nothing beats a cold drink, bare feet and good conversation while listening to the breeze and the birds.
Last season, my mom found two vintage metal tulip chairs at a garage sale. They were very chippy, rusty and sad looking. She worked on sanding them down, primed and painted these two in some a bright lime green and a cheery purple, giving them a refreshed new life in her backyard garden. I think they look pretty awesome. Now I just need to find my own set of retro chairs that need some love to take home to my yard!

I found one metal chair in my family’s farm garbage pit. I guess Dan will have to sit in the grass.
Love love love.
I did a little “cub-side” shopping with a friend during the last clean up week, and found one in a pile. It just needs some “love”/paint. But I was so giddy all the way home!
I want to find some of these too! Now they are just so darn expensive since they are the ‘in thing’. But i am keeping my eye out, they are a great childhood memory of being at the alke for me!
Just gorgeous!! I too would love some, keep hoping to find them in my price range!
Hi guys,
Thanks!
I’m moving to ND later this year and have been having a hard time finding a lot of good info on the state. I think blogs on ND are needed out there on the “interweb”
For anyone else who is struggling, check out this one….its got some good info:
